Despite Good Economy, Low-Income Americans Jittery
6/13/00 -- While Americans continue to give the U.S. economy a highly positive rating, a new Gallup poll shows that lower-income Americans express at least a moderate degree of worry about their personal economic situation. They are also more likely than higher-income Americans to say that rising interest rates have affected their major spending decisions.
