Nader's evasive statement on Iraq was delivered during an interview last February. Since then, he has evidently gotten the message. Last week, he was on NPR and, according to a friend of a friend, when asked about the sanctions on Iraq, he called Clinton a coward, claimed it was the worst crime of the Clinton administration, and said he would lift the sanctions immediately if elected to office. Apparently he got a little worked up while discussing it.
