when i used it orig. i was using it in context of *1900 house* which is supposed to reproduce the lifestyle of avg middle class family in 1900. that's what i meant by avg and what i meant subsequently when i clarified and talked about middle class families as opp to working class families.
correct me if i'm wrong, but that IS what 1900 house is about yes? a middle class family's lifestyle.
