Rakesh can speak for himself but I didn't hear him say that. There is indeed quite a tough critique of the wishy-washy way that J2000 North folk are dealing with these issues. Although the J2000 South people who met in Jo'burg last November in an important summit were much more interested in inward-oriented, basic-needs economics than Rakesh, I think a good deal of the critique of well-meaning northern social imperialism is shared by these South social movements.
