The points of unity were created in 1985-86 and are dated in some ways--the question of the relation to the then-socialisst countries was a big concern then. We have never gotten around to revising them, although there has been some suggestion that we do so. Actually, I'd oppose doing it--I think the points we have are right enough, the structure works OK, and it would involve a lot of energy that we could use elsewhere for relatrively little gain, if any. Howeverm if you feel differenbtly, join and agitate for revision. You have company. --jks
