CB: Probably, but ever notice that Jeffrey Dahmer ( he killed people and then eat them), Timothy McVeigh, the Columbine boys, Hitler for that matter, and many other mass murderers and miscreants were reportedly not on drugs. Maybe if they had taken something they would have calmed down.

CB ========== Don't know about Dahmer or the Columbine boys but McVeigh was in the US Army and that institution has fucked up a lot of people as badly as some types of drugs. As for Hitler, I found this on the National Parkinson Foundation site http://www.parkinson.org/texthtms/thitlerspd2.htm

5. Drug-induced Tremor: Hitler was on several drugs. These were prescribed (or mis-prescribed) by Dr. T. Morell, Hitler's personal physician. They were prescribed for a variety of symptoms--most of them related to fatigue, depression, and anxiety. The drugs included methamphetamine (speed) injected daily beginning in 1942. Cola-Dalmann tablets, containing a number of ingredients including caffeine, used daily since the 1930s. Brom-Nervacit, containing bromide, used sporadically since 1942. All of these drugs, except Cola-Dalmann, were started in 1942, after Hitler's tremor began. All of these drugs can increase tremor, but they could not have caused Hitler's left-sided resting tremor.

Based on the early age of onset , age 45 years, and a history of possible encephalitis in 1918, Hitler may have had post-encephalitic rather than idiopathic Parkinson. This will be discussed in a subsequent "News" item.

******* The German army was also issued speed during the Russian Invasion, amongst other prolonged offensives....See the works of Arnold Trebach.

Need I mention Nixon's fondness for Martini's and his famous encounters with RX bottles [the real origins of the Repugs. hatred of the FDA] of Valium as well as his gout drugs.

Or how about Lawrence "Cocaine" Kudlow and Reagonomics or.....

For a totally flipped out tale of neuropharmacology run amok that will leave your sides splitting better than a Cheech and Chong film, try "The Futurological Congress" by Stanislaw Lem.

Will tripping be "allowed" after "the revolution"?
