I'd say I spend much, if not most, of my life in a mood that would make
Edgar Allan Poe look like Mr. Rogers. I prefer to think the reasons for
this are political or philosophical in origin, but, who knows, the cause may
just be an imbalance of humors, too much serotonin reuptake, or the like.
At any rate, my posting bilious e-mails to a list like this seems to me a
more constructive sort of response than popping pills or shock therapy,
though that assumption could well be merely part of the total neurosis ;-)
