Hustle is a partner dance done in a slotted pattern similar to WCS. And just like WCS, it can be danced very smooooothly, or with a lot of snap, acceleration and posing (vogue). Hustle began, freeform, in discos as a dance with simple footwork and a simple count;

CB: That is the former hustle. Current hustle is group (usually large group) dancing the same step together , i.e. not a partner dance, not the disco hustle. There may be as many as 100 different hustles now. First New Hustle was to a Stevie Wonder song, forgot the name, starts with trumpets.

When a big hustle goes on it is impressive to see the whole room move in unison.
