I'm beginning to feel very 18th century in my use of upper-case letters. I sometimes get the feeling the shift key -- not, say "print screen" -- is going to be the first key excised from streamlined keyboards of the future. I guess the Village Voice's onetime dance critic Jill Johnston (if I recall her name correctly) and Archie the Cockroach were indeed seers who correctly anticipated the all-lower-case world of the future.
