"NBC, 'Friends' cast agree on pricey friendship

"The cast of Friends on Sunday reached an agreement to return to NBC for two more seasons in a deal that makes the show the most expensive sitcom on television.
"Just hours before today's NBC fall lineup announcement, the six stars -- who had asked for $1 million each per episode -- agreed to return for $750,000, or six times their current salary."
