LAURA FLANDERS IS LOOKING FOR A PRODUCER!!
Radioforchange has just launched me in a new show and I need a producer-co-conspirator.
It's a daily three-hour talk show, weekday mornings, on commercial, left-wing radio. Commercial and not Centre-Right? Yes. KWAB and www.radioforchange.com were launched last year by the Working Assets phone company/funding agency. It's a grand experiment to win some territory back from Dr. Laura, Rush and co.
For a brief time only, there's an opening for a producer who has radio experience (especially in progressive, community radio), activist commitment, contacts, ideas and energy. Some qualities are more critical than others, so don't hestitate to send your resume, or pass this notice on. People of color, women and LGBT folks are particularly encouraged to apply. But do it quick! We need to fill this position IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.
At present, this job is based in Boulder, Colorado. Pay is not bad.
