Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes, from Rebecca West's novel, _The Thinking Reed_. (I first ran into it as a captionn under a picture in Cockburn & Silverstein's _Washington Babylon_): "[He was the sort of man who] even when he was peering down a woman's breasts managed to look as though he was thinking about India."
