Powering Up the Eurostate

The Taz ran an article by Danny the Red (Cohn-Bendit, of '68 fame) calling
for a European superstate. The highlights are: (1) an EU constitution, (2) 
an expanded European Parliament, (3) reregulation of markets, (4) openness
to immigrants and immigration, (5) support for Eastern Europe, Turkey, and
other countries, and (6) continental-wide social democracy. For those who
