A book by Wolfgang Leonhard  ("The Betrayal")on the Stalin-Hitler
pact(or Molotov-Ribbentrof?) published back in the 80's details
the reactions of rank and file Communists to the pact. Leonhard
also has a very good autobiography, "Children of the Revolution,
" about his years as a Communist cadre. Was purged for pro-Titoist
deviationist tendencies.
