Yeah, the AFL-CIO is, like, so rad, dude. Especially compared to the South Korean unions, or IG Metall, or the LO, or the other mighty Euro-unions. The EU's labor legislation makes the US look like the barbaric, overmilitarized, deindustrialized semiperiphery we indeed are.
Someone on another list said it best: the Democrats are the Party *in* Wall Street, and the Reps are the Party *of* Wall Street. Piss on 'em both.
