Lonely on LBO

It's very lonely being for the Less Evil Gore instead of the Good Ralph on
LBO. In order to give heart to those of us in this unenviable postion, I
have vandalised a certain Irish poet:

Election Day, 2000

I write it out in a song--
Casey and Quinn
And Newman and Delong
Now and in time to be
Wherever blue is worn
Are changed, changed utterly:
A terrible duty is borne.
