Don't feel bad. One of my favorite lady politicians was upset by a ho-hum Republican guy on Tuesday after 12 years in office. Luckily, she kept her hand in part time in cake decorating and now she has something full time to fall back on.

Personally, I think Mary Jo could have made a stronger run for the US Senate than the Irish lady from Cleveland did a couple of years ago. Or for that matter than Ted Celeste did this time. Mary Jo gives beautiful little understandable speeches on the constitution and workers rights. That's more than I can say for most politicians who are much more educated than she.

I've got orders from headquarters to figure out why she lost. I've got a hunch. But I won't know for sure until I get the county wide vote breakdown on the precinct level.
