Question regarding Floridians turned away at the polls

Does someone have any more concrete information about the people who were
turned away at the polls in Florida?  Anything more concrete than "it seems
to have happened?"  How many people were turned away?  Which polling booths
did ths happen at?  Are we talking about hundreds of votes, thousands of
votes, or tens of thousands?

This seems like the clincher for Al Gore, and would (in my view)
necessitate some kind of remedy.  I go back and forth over the Palm Beach
ballot issue, but I would think being turned away from the voting booth and
not allowed to cast a ballot would be deemed unacceptable by the courts.
