Complaint about Quote Kvetching

Somebody complained about my kvetching,
and how they had to have so many screens of
quotes because they had to use a larger font.
I understand that, because I'm blowing up the 
size of stuff more and more now (even though
my prescription hasn't changed in a few years).

However, that doesn't affect things on 
the mailreader I use (Pine).  The only
way that I know what font somebody is using
is if their mailreader is tacking on HTML on the 
end of their post, and I were to wade through
it looking for font lables.

Two things for the list members:

Is my kvetching too 'kvetchy'?

Could somebody post/point to directions
on how to turn off the HTML on those
mailreaders which use it?
