Klonsky, along with other WU alumni, Billy Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn and either Noel Ignatiev or David Roediger (forget which) have pieces in this new book from the New Press. The editorial director of the New Press, formerly at Pantheon, Andre Schiffrin, has a new one from Verso on his career in publishing. Glancing through it the other day, I saw that he mentions that all those Random House/Vintage paperbooks from the late 60's and 70's like American Power and the New Mandarins from Chomsky and numerous others sold quite well contrary to the initial feelings of other editors as to their salability on their list. Wonder if Schiffrin has any comments on his 50's Schactmanite politics?
