I thought it was odd that on his MSNBC (or was it CNBC?) show Chris Matthews described Ms. Harris as the beautiful Ms. Harris and then the other night he told Sally Quinn she was "looking very attractive tonight." Imagine Ted Koppell introducing some female pundit and adding that, my, she was looking fine. Or imagine Cookie Roberts introducing Tucker Carlson and then remarking on how cute he was looking with his little bow tie and stylish hairdo. Am I wrong here? Is it a non-issue? Maybe the LBO-list isn't the proper arena for this discussion.
