Is this thread meant to be cute somehow? Just interesting, or rather despairing, to see the absolute refusal to consider aesthetics of any kind as pertinent to left discourse, particularly economic discourse. And should it arise at this point as a substantial thread, I've long since lost trust in the seriousness of the participants on this list when considering such questions. So, forgive my intrusion, but do consider reserving your facile snickering for back-channel communication. This list is busy enough with worthwhile information and debate.
