Scalia: protector of 4th amendment?

Interestingly, today's terrific supreme court decision on traffic roadblocks (saying that it violates the fourth amendment to use mass traffic roadblocks and drug-sniffing dogs to discover drug use) was dissented to by Rienquest, Thomas and Scalia. .

Apparently, Scalia isn't THAT consistant a defender of fourth amendment rights.
