>From today's Washington Post: "Since a Palestinian uprising began 13 days
ago in Gaza and the West Bank, Palestinian youths have consistently been on
the front lines and have suffered accordingly. The U.N. Children's Fund says
that, as of this morning, 22 children under 18 had been killed and at least
1,000 wounded by Israeli soldiers firing tear gas, rubber-coated bullets and
standard ammunition at Arab protesters and the gunmen who are sometimes in
their midst. Many have been maimed; some have lost eyes. In all, nearly 100
people have been killed since violence erupted Sept. 29, all but five of
them Palestinians."
Some siege force.
