BTU tax, actually. I believe they wanted a carbon tax but retreated to a BTU, since people would think it was a tax on the British.

Yeah, doesn't anybody remember the 'carbon tax'? (Which I thought was one of CLinton/Gore's more intelligent proposals.) I also have noted his recent silence on the issue of consumption of fuel when the prices went up. He used to be in favor of higher fuel prices and lower consumption, now it's break out the strategic reserves and party on!
