Oh yeah, it strikes me as particularly odd when Chuck0 says:

The hunger and misery of billions is a fact that I'm quite aware of, and it's one of the reasons I'm a socialist and not working for Forbes. But it's a unique form of consciousness for First World white people to want to give up their mode of life, when many - most? - of those billions would be eager to take their place.
