temp service providers in london?

i need to make arrangements for a dial up service provider for a week-long 
stay in london.  don't want to have to be bothered with internet cafes.  i 
understand that they now have aol and other providers that are free but 
charge for the phone call/per minute.  if anyone is familiar with the 
process involved in obtaining this kind of service and/or can point me in a 
more focused direction in terms of providers that you're familiar with and 
who are reliable, mail me offlist.  much appreciated. which 
reminds:  thanks a bunch for all the suggestions re corporate 
espionage.  saved my tail as i was in last minute need of information for a 
client.
