michael: i've already acquired a few scars from the revolutionaries. if it's not mortal combat, then they can't be bothered. but thanks for the interesting conspiracy URLs - just what i needed to fill my free time! Chomsky gave me 50 hits on the first try.

kelley: didn't answer a Q of yours: how i arrived in dragon land. used askjeeves to find something on econ stats and up came the euphemism PKT (post keynesian theory) - a way for pinkos and commies to suck in the unwary and innocent, i reckon - with a contact whose name i don't remember who showed me how to get to pen-l. then from there to LBO, etc. via the cross posts. i still haven't checked out all the lefties and don't know that i ever will be able to because they're known to splinter faster than one can read!

now that Labor Day is over, i'm hoping that some of these posters have gainful employment like maybe teaching or shopping a couple of hours a week so that my morning email inventory will diminish to something less than the 200. then I can return to gainful employment too.
