September 25, 2000 World Series: Yanks Have Steady Lead
The New York Yankees maintain their lead over the Atlanta Braves in the weekend Portrait of America World Series Poll. Over half believe one of the two teams will win the World Series.
The St. Louis Cardinals move into third followed by the San Francisco Giants and Cleveland Indians.
Rasmussen Research conducted this national telephone survey of 838 adult baseball fans on September 23, 2000. The margin of error sampling error was +/- 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. A fan is considered anyone watching at least one game a week.
While the Yankees are favored to win the World Series, the Braves continue to be the team fans want to see win the fall classic. Trailing the Braves are the Yankees, Cardinals, Giants, and Indians. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question Wording:
