Moluccas? I heard the Australian Broadcasting Corporation suggesting this
morning that international intervention might be needed in this part of
Indonesia to stop intercommunal violence. The Army are said to be taking
sides with one faction (un-named). This is a majority Christian area with
recent Muslim settlement and Muslims are gaining economic dominance.

Western interference here - once again on alleged humanitarian grounds.
