According to a post on the Progressive Sociologists Network, Rudy
Giuliani lost his lead in the polls after his "unsympathetic response"
to the shooting of Patrick Dorismond.  Now I realize it matters not
a whit who wins the Senate seat, but, grasping at straws, this seems
like a good sign.  Hopefully it might work the same way for George
"give'em that lethal injection" Bush, though of course the outcome
of that election is of no great import either.  Hmm, politics is
sure no fun when you've given up rooting for the "lesser evil."
