Uncovering the Right on Campus

...However, I am wondering if there's anything readily available out there on the current structures of the campus right? Uncovering the Right on Campus has plenty of "follow the money" advice (get their 990s, etc.), but one doesn't always have the time to do that. Should it become necessary, I will, but it would be nice to have something quick-and-dirty to refer to. Perhaps I'm right, though, in assuming that no one has stepped forward to fill the shoes of the Center for Campus Organizing in this department?

Thanks, John Lacny ---------

I don't have anything, but if your interested in a local quick and dirt route, start where you are and look up Michael Yates (mikey+ at pitt.edu) former Lbo'er and poli sci professor, who from his e-mail address is probably on the same camus and e-mail system as you (jpist15+ at pitt.edu).

Here in Berkeley, most student organizations have a faculty sponsor (or used to), so assuming Univ Pittsburg has a similar arrangement, Michael Yates will probably know where to find this scum and maybe some detail on his or her political connections, grants, contracts, so-called research, etc. Mike Yates posted a few farewell messages to academia last month, so he's leaving and might not care who gets offended and would probably be immune to professional reprisals.

If you find anything let the rest of us know. It's always good to hear and keep track of the jerk-offs.
