[I see that Ariel Sharon -- who deserves full credit, IMHO, for the 
instigation and continuance of the current wave of slaughter in the Mideast 
-- has now chalked up a Palestinian-child body count of fully six dozen.  
Just one more and he will have reached his age -- he's 73, no? -- in dead 
Palestinian juveniles.  Quite a record.]

72nd Palestinian child killed

For months, ninth grader Ahmed Al-Assar and his classmates followed a daily 
ritual -- go to school, walk two miles to an Israeli military post, throw 
stones at soldiers, walk home, play soccer.

On Thursday, Ahmed, 15, was shot in the chest, the 72nd Palestinian under 
the age of 16 to be killed by Israeli fire since the outbreak of fighting 
last fall. Three Israeli children have been killed, including a 10-month-old 
baby.
