That's not my job, as Heiner Mueller liked to say. Cranston quotes a couple paragraphs of Sartre and says *nothing* about the project, the existential horizon, colonization, etc. "Critique of Dialectical Reason" remains one of the keynote texts of 20th century Marxism, chockful of remarkable insights; the English translation is actually pretty good. Read it first, and then try saying "Sarte was a bourgie pig and tool of The Man" with a straight face. I guarantee it can't be done.
