Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, you might say, and I took the one less 
traveled by.  I made up my mind long ago about the meretriciousness of 
conservatism even at its best, and I'll be damned at this late date if I'm 
going to devote scant reading time to hearing out the other side all over 
again.
