   A fascinating book by Cal Berkeley sociologist, Steve Tipton is, "Getting
Saved from the Sixties." UC Press, sometime in the late 80's or so. On
movement veterans ike Rennie Davis that joined the Krishnas, did the est
shtick, went to Esalen, joined a commune in Tennessee like the one where
Gore smoked dope with Steve Gaskin.

  Another book by FSM vet, Steve Rossman, deals with the same stuff.
