so, like, i'm searching for stuff on usenet at google's archives. for some 
reason i stumble over doug's name in a list of famouse socialists. so, out 
of curiosity, i do a search on doug. doug, you also make the list as a 
famous atheist.  and, lordy, i didn't know you were so famous. and all 
these years i have been rude to you and i even described a book review as 
"shoddy".

OOOOOOPS!!!

but ya still love me, i know.  anyway, you're consistently described as 
extremely intelligent, witty and...an economist!
