To return to Perot and Armitage> Chip doubtless has much more on this part of the tale, btw. (Daniel Sheehan's [and Liberty Lobby figure, L. Fletcher Prouty, "Mr. X" in Stone's JFK] Secret Team allegations about Iran-Contra, were fed direct to Perot, through an acquaintance, first (first name, Scott, can't remember his last name now) and later direct to Perot by Sheehan. Anyway, long story short, through the more right-wing (it's all relative!) of the Families of POW/MIA groups these allegations of high level treason by Armitage and Kissenger still circulate. Sabotage of rescue missions (the first Rambo movie) and other skullduggery.
Oh, and those black POW/MIA flags can be seen fluttering from the flagpole at the SF Federal Bldg. Ooops, one more point. The Dubya Bush campaign in the South Carolina primary against John McCain, deployed as a speechmaker and outreach worker to all those retired vets in S. Carolina, aloon by the name of Ted Sampley. See a website entitled, "The Manchurian Candidate." Not as good as the movie but, for a website a real scream in terms of what it alleges about McCain being brainwashed by the N. Vietnamese.
