i filter posts so i thought i was missing something. there was some talk of pow/mia's as a myth. then you said something about jane fonda urban legend. i thought you were talking about something else. i thought it was well known that the pow/mia letter is a big urban legend, so i couldn't figure why you were addressing it. i haven't read all the posts that i don't filter so i thought there was an urban legend about pow/mia's.

[1] speaking of misinterpretations: i think Andrew and Chuck0 are really off in their interpretation of Yoshie's comments. i hardly think it was reactionary but a point about the fact that not everyone has the time or money or whatever to get involved. sometimes life is constrained in important ways that some activists seem to forget. true, it was a unfair jab at you, personally, chuck0 but i think the larger point is worth noting since it was so clearly missed the first time round.
