well, 45% feel that jurgen harbermas and his communicative action theory (i believe thats the phrase, but they have been flying pretty fast and i am pretty slow) are pretty cool, and another 45% dont agree. or so it seems to this member of the 10% that they are supposed to be trying to convince, the story being that the 90% who are involved in the discussion have already made up their mind and argument is of no use. on the other hand, that last viewpoint seems to be held by only one segment of the aforementioned two 45%'ers, or perhaps by a new 45% consisting of fractions within the original groups, with perhaps another 45% disagreeing with them, and so on (and its arguments all the way down)...
oh and also someone's sister is looking for someone to take care of her kids while she marries a millionaire, and her mother does not approve of this action one bit, and we are all collectively wondering why.
