Fellow Conservatives:

Writing today to let you know about two extremely important events for grassroots Conservatives:

1)The 29th Annual Conservative Political Action Conference: Our nation's oldest and largest annual gathering of grassroots Conservatives.

2) The ACU's Policy Boot Camp: an opportunity for candidates and Conservatives of all stripes to get an introduction to the intricacies of conservative policy formation and advancement. ----------------------------------------

CPAC 2001

On the heels of the record-breaking attendance of last year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), we have officially launched this year's registration drive for CPAC 2002, to be held January 31st through February 2nd, 2002 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Crystal City, Virginia. We fully intend to break last year's record of 3,412 attendees to show that Conservatives, from coast to coast, are more mobilized and enthusiastic than ever.

In addition to the daily speeches and informative panels with prominent conservative grassroots leaders and influential Members of Congress, conference highlights will include the Thursday evening Presidential Banquet - last year keynoted by Vice President Dick Cheney -- and the Friday evening Ronald Reagan Banquet. The culmination of Friday night's Banquet is the presentation of the Ronald Reagan Award, last year awarded to the Landmark Legal Foundation's Mark Levin. Invited speakers to these events include President George W. Bush, Vice President Cheney and former British Prime Minister Lady Margaret Thatcher. You can check the status of invited speakers - as the names move from the "invited" to the "confirmed" column - at our website: www.cpac.org

You can pre-register for the 29th Annual CPAC by calling (800) 752-4391, or by logging onto www.cpac.org Students are encouraged to take advantage of CPAC's free student registration and student scholarships. A new feature of the website also allows conservatives to nominate conservative leaders for consideration for the historic Ronald Reagan Award.

Be sure to check out www.cpac.org and don't forget to pre-register for what will be another historic event for all Conservatives.
