Protest against the Israeli War on Palestinians
End the Israeli Occupation! End US Aid to Israel! Join Women in Black for Just Peace in Palestine!
Time: from 5:00 p.m. Location: at the corner of 15th Ave. and High St. Columbus, Ohio, USA
On Friday, December 28, Columbus Women in Black will hold a protest against the escalating Israeli war on Palestinians, in solidarity with the Women's Coalition for a Just Peace, who will organize a solemn protest and procession through downtown West Jerusalem and a protest rally and concert at the Bethlehem checkpoint. Over 50 international Women in Black vigils will be simultaneously held in solidarity.
Please bring posters, banners, etc. to the protest.
While Women in Black vigils in Columbus have been silent vigils in the past, this time, we will have a SPEAKOUT with a microphone & an amplifier (as decided at the Dec. 7th vigil).
Women who participate in the protest should come dressed in black.
Men are strongly encouraged to come & support women (but men shouldn't come dressed in black).
