Perhaps 'what' we should be encouraging 'them' to be analogizing to is "Star Wars"? How many want to be working for the likes of Vader and his networks from here on out? Appropriating those images etc. might be strategic, no? I'm happy to be wrong, but that film is deep in the US 'unconscious.'
