MacIntyre has been for some time writing on philosophy and ethics ("virtue ethics") in the tradition of Aristotle, a tradition that certainly includes Aquinas but also Marx. (MacIntyre did an interesting article a number of years ago on how the Theses on Feuerbach show Marx at a fork in the road: MacIntyre argues that Marx chose the wrong fork and gave up on philosophy...) --CGE
