Fernando de la Rúa, presidente de la Argentina, ha declarado el Estado de Sitio pasando por encima del Congreso.
El Estado de Sitio implica que no se puede hacer concentraciones de más de tres personas después de las 10 de la noche.
Son las 11:40. Toda la ciudad de Buenos Aires, así como las ciudades del Interior argentino, ha salido a la calle con sus ollas y sartenes, en un sonoro cacerolazo movilizado contra el ministro de economía neoliberal.

El Congreso decide entre hoy y mañana la reunión de la Asamblea Legislativa para decidir sobre la continuidad del Presidente en caso de que no renuncie el ministro de economía.
