I don't see how you can get around the question posed in the Third Thesis on Feuerbach. Without a long and painful struggle there can be no way of achieving a population who can rule themselves -- "revolutionising practice." The barriers summarized in the Third Thesis are not to be overcome by any change from the top, whether by coup or election.
