One way to protect oneself against misuses of "dialectics" is not to read any article or post that _starts out_ with the proposition, "X is undialectical." The same goes for writing that begins with "X is not historical." Such expressions, when appropriate, should come near the end of the argument, emerging from what has gone before. As a starting point they are merely a squeak of personal pique.
