"An Army of One" & Brand-Name Identification

I was wondering when these stories would get notice here.  The're really 
quite irresistible from the point of view of American Individualism, where 
in the Army nexus we see the formal fusion of The Individual and The 
State.  I suppose where the old Nazi slogan was :  "One People, One Empire, 
One Leader",   we should move from the imperative to the genitive form - 
precisely from unified command over, to diffuse production of - "Army of 
One, Empire of One, Leader of One".  Anything to get them in the door, as 
the Nazis no doubt also thought in their own cataclysmic preview of our own 
times.
