No, I did not say this. It is from the Die Welt interview published today: http://www.welt.de/daten/2001/02/06/0206ku220599.htx The interview was conducted by Alan Posener and I assume it was originally held in English and translated into German, but the published version is only in German and I have provided only a rough raw translation (BTW it should rather be 'an ideological club' than 'the ideological club'). Perhaps others who understand German can provide a better translation.

Die Welt has already put online tommorrow's edition with more articles: Uwe Schmitt sums up US reactions to Finkelstein, quoting Omer Bartov, Christopher Hitchens, Stephen Zipperstein and Gabriel Schoenfeld. http://www.welt.de/daten/2001/02/07/0207ku220883.htx

There is going to be a potrait of Finkelstein in tommorrow's Die Welt, but it is not online yet.
