I heard the other day that a turn of the century (into the 20th that is)
socialist, wrote the Pledge of Allegiance. That true? Part of the
Americanize the immigrant proles mvmnt.
Under God was added later. I did not know it has been taken out. But, that
could be Xtian Right propaganda, no?

P.S. In my 6th grade class, two kids gave the raised arm Hitler salute when
we had to say the Pledge. They claimed they were under the influence of
Hogan's Heroes.
